Happiness is the ability to feel satisfied with life, enjoy others and have fun. By making a conscious effort to be happy then chances are happiness will follow. There are steps we can follow to bring happiness into our lives.
- It’s important to stay connected with family and friends because it keeps you involved. Relationships are vital to happiness. So, take the time to express gratitude to important people in your life.
- The fun things you choose to do each day can make you happy – listen to music, take a walk.
- Exercise & Dance, like no one is watching
- Laugh out loud and don’t take yourself or others too seriously.
- Look for the good. Be positive. Stop negative thoughts in their tracks!
- Change your focus on a life is not just all about you….Give, volunteer, help someone, adopt a pet..

We plan our daily schedules around choosing activities that might make us happy, like an evening at the ballpark or a weekend concert or a visit to a friend’s house or just quietly watching an evening sunset.
Each of us wants to be happy but happiness is a choice. Few things can be healthier for you than simply deciding to be happy.
